Kristen Stewart is Trending For a Pic of Her Kissing Rumoured Girlfriend

Actress Kristen Stewart and her rumoured girlfriend were spotted locking lips here.

The Twilight actress and the French singer were not shy of their amorous display as they walked hand-in-hand on Tuesday.

Kristen was photographed in a black leather blazer, grey T-shirt and black pants. Soko wore a brown plaid coat over a white shirt, high-waist pants and sunglasses, aceshowbiz.com reported.

In one of the photographs, Soko took off her sunglasses and leaned forward to kiss the 25-year-old actress. In another image, the two looked happy as they held hands while continuing their walk. Earlier this week, Soko was spotted giving the actress a bouquet of flowers.

Kristen's former beau and actor Robert Pattinson seemed to have completely moved on and he is reportedly happy for her and Soko.

Freida Pinto Filmed Knight of Cups Without a Script. She Had 'Fun'

She didn't have a script to memorise dialogues from when was shooting with Christian Bale in Terrence Malick's film Knight of Cups. But that didn't faze her at all, says actress Freida Pinto.

Freida, who became popular in the West after Slumdog Millionaire, has no fear of working without scripts as she says it can get "nerve-wracking" initially but is a very "relaxing and liberating" experience.

"It is right that we had no script for the film. The truth is that Terrence Malick has worked in a lot of his films with pretty much the same format. If you know Terrence Malick, you know what you are getting into and you sign up for it," said Freida.

"It was a different experience. I actually don't have a lot of inhibitions or fears when it comes to doing something which is not scripted," Freida told IANS in a telephonic interview from Los Angeles.

Was it challenging?

"It is definitely a bit nerve-racking on the first day because you don't know where you are going to go. But once you figure that out, then it doesn't really matter. It is actually very relaxing. It is fun and liberating. It is an experience that I completely embrace," said Freida.

The film, which released in the US last week, follows the life of a writer Rick (Christian Bale) in Hollywood. He meets six women, including one played by Freida, who helps him in his journey.

The film also stars Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, and Antonio Banderas.

Freida, who has also done films like Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Immortals and is also doing her bit for the society by associating with social initiatives like Girl Rising campaigns, and shares that working with a director like Terrence was "an absolutely fantastic experience."

"Firstly, because it was Terrence Malick's film. It is a special experience. I don't have scenes with Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman. The film shows the journey that Christian's character Rick has to endure and how these various women in his life have a key to something that he is trying to discover," she said.

As of now, there are a couple of other projects that Freida is working on, but she refrained from delving into details. The actress is voicing Mowgli's adoptive mother in Jungle Book: Origins, which will hit the screens in 2017.(Also Read: For Freida Pinto, Life Comes 'Full Circle' With The Jungle Book)

Judi Dench Breaks Record, Wins Her Eighth Olivier Award

Judi Dench on Sunday became the most successful actor in the history of Britain's top theatre awards, the Olivier Awards, when she picked up a record eighth trophy.

Ms Dench won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Paulina in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, opposite Kenneth Branagh as Leontes.

Accepting the award, the 81-year-old star, who won her first Olivier in 1977 and is best known for her role as M in the James Bond films, joked that she had not expected to win.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm absolutely livid as I had a bet with my grandson and I'm never going to be able to forget it," she told the audience at London's Royal Opera House.

The production ended its run in London's West End in January.

A string of big names lost out in other major categories.

In the Best Actor category, Benedict Cumberbatch for Hamlet, Mark Rylance for Farinelli And The King and Branagh for The Winter's Tale were passed over in favour of Kenneth Cranham for The Father. (Also Read: Benedict Cumberbatch Visits Comic Book Store in Doctor Strange Costume)

Had he won, Mr Rylance would have become the first actor to hold four of acting's top prizes in the same year - an Oscar, a BAFTA film award, a BAFTA theatre award and an Olivier.

Mr Rylance, who sported black tie with a brown trilby hat on the Oliviers red carpet, drew global acclaim in February when he won the best supporting actor Oscar for Bridge Of Spies.

For best actress, Nicole Kidman in Photograph 51 lost out to Denise Gough for People, Places And Things.

The award for Best New Play went to Hangmen by Martin McDonagh, a drama about the abolition of capital punishment in 1960s England.

Best actor in a supporting role was Mark Gatiss for Three Days In The Country. Mr Gatiss is best known for starring with Mr Cumberbatch in the TV series Sherlock, which he also co-wrote and created.

Mind the Age Gap: Charlize Theron on How Hollywood Treats Women Over 40

Hollywood star Charlize Theron has addressed the problematic issue of age that film industries on both sides of the globe seem unwilling to acknowledge. In an interview to GQ, Ms Theron, 40, says the pressure to look a certain way for older women is unreal and that this is a defect in society rather than Hollywood.

"We live in a society where women wilt and men age like fine wine. And, for a long time, women accepted it. We were waiting for society to change, but now we're taking leadership. It would be a lie to say there is less worry for women as they get older than there is for men... It feels there's this unrealistic standard of what a woman is supposed to look like when she's over 40," Charlize Theron told GQ.

The actress also said that roles with serious worth go to actors who look a certain way and that here, beauty is a disadvantage. "Jobs with real gravitas go to people who are physically right for them and that's the end of the story," she said, "when meaty roles come through, I've been in the room and pretty people get turned away first." She should know - she won her Best Actress Oscar some 10 years ago after putting on 15 kilos, shaving her eyebrows and wearing prosthetics to play serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster. Her most recent film, Mad Max: Fury Road, was praised as a win for feminism but Ms Theron had to give an arm and her hair (on screen, quite literally) to play the lead character of Imperator Furiosa. Her forehead was blacked across for good measure. Can't be pretty and play the gritty general of a deranged leader in a post-apocalyptic world.

In our neck of the 'woods, Charlize Theron's comments on age will, or should, touch a nerve. Work-in-progress films star actors with massive age gaps between them. There is almost 28 years between Shah Rukh Khan, 50, and 23-year-old Alia Bhatt, starring in director Gauri Shinde's next film. Rajinikanth, 65, is 35 years older than his Kabali heroine Radhika Apte, 30. It's unlikely that these actors have been cast as fathers and daughters.

When Gauri Shinde's film was announced last year, headlines in the press screamed 'SRK to romance Alia.' This was, of course, pure conjecture based on the assumption that the male and female leads in a Bollywood film should automatically be cast as each other's love interest. It's entirely possible that Gauri's actors will share a non-creepy relationship but, pending further revelations, let's not forget that SRK has already officially turned 40 onscreen in Chennai Express and so can hardly pretend otherwise.

This is a good time to return to Hollywood actress Maggie Gyllenhaal's being rejected as the love interest of a 55-year-old actor in a film. "I'm 37 and I was told recently I was too old to play the lover of a man who was 55. It was astonishing to me. It made me feel bad, and then it made me feel angry, and then it made me laugh," she said last June in an interview to The Wrap. This, in a Hollywood currently roiling with several campaigns against red carpet sexism and unequal salaries. (Also Read: At 37, Actress is 'Too Old' For Hero, 55. And This is Not Even Bollywood)

Last year, Bollywood's trifecta of Khans officially crossed over into middle-age - Aamir turned 50 in March, Shah Rukh and Salman followed suit in November and December. Of course we celebrated, not just the fact that they can still pass for a carefully unspecified age in most films but also that they still command box office crores like no other actor. (Also Read: Shah Rukh and Alia's 28-Year Gap: Age, the Dirtiest Word in Bollywood)

Hitting a half-century not out doesn't mean, however, that the Khans' heroines get any older than they used to be. SRK starred opposite Kajol, 41, in Dilwale and 43-year-old Sakshi Tanwar has been cast opposite Aamir in Dangal but these are blips - it's usually Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and other marquee names 30 or under who are cast in films that star older heroes like the Khans, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn.

When we celebrate then-48-year-old Sridevi's triumphant return to screen in 2012 film English Vinglish, it's important to keep in mind that there's not the ghost of a chance that she will now be considered as a heroine for Salman, with whom she made films like Chandramukhi and Chand Ka Tukdaa. Directors might conceivably now want her to play his mother (not that we imagine she ever will).

And because age is even less discussed in Bollywood than in Hollywood, there's little chance we'll get to hear from Sridevi, now 52, on the inequities of why the league of middle-aged heroes continues to flourish with nary a consideration for age-appropriate casting while the handful of 40-plus heroines - including herself, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and precious few others - co-star with actors their own age: Sridevi's English Vinglish co-star Adil Hussain is exactly her age; Madhuri Dixit's last hero; 42-year-old Aishwarya's Jazbaa comrade Irrfan Khan is five years older at 47. For them, no twentysomething men to bridge the divide.

To Megan Fox, 10/10 For Response to Speculation Over Baby Daddy

When actress Megan Fox showed up at CinemaCon in Las Vegas a couple of days ago with a baby bump, the congratulations were outnumbered by speculation about the identity of the father. For Megan, 29, reportedly filed for divorce from actor Brian Austin Green last August. So who was daddy, tabloids wanted to know, suggesting possible candidates - actors Shia LaBoeuf, Will Arnett and Jake Johnson, Megan's co-stars in Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and New Girl. Actress Jennifer Aniston Is World's Most Beautiful Woman: Reports

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES:
HIGHLIGHTS
People Magazine names Jennifer Aniston 'world's most beautiful woman'
Jennifer Aniston was given the title once before, in 2004
47-year-old actor is one of the oldest to be named by People Magazine
Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston has been anointed by People magazine as the world's most beautiful woman, the entertainment weekly announced on Wednesday.

The magazine, which each year crowns the celebrity male and female it deems best-looking, named Aniston its most beautiful once before, in 2004.

Aniston, 47, a Hollywood mainstay who became a mega-celebrity through her starring role in the long-running television sitcom "Friends," said she was stunned to hear the news.

"I thought, 'Oh my God,'" she told People.

"There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment."

The honor comes just as Aniston prepares for her latest big screen role, in the Hollywood movie "Mother's Day," which opens later this month.

Last year, Aniston married her longtime beau Justin Theroux, 44, an American actor and director.

The blonde actress is famous for her impeccably coiffed tresses and for her marriage to now ex-husband Brad Pitt, who dumped her to find love with Angelina Jolie -- both of whom have had their own turns as People's most beautiful.

Aniston -- along with last year's honoree, Sandra Bullock, 51 -- is also among the oldest beauties ever to have been singled out by People.

"Beauty has changed for me over the years," she told the magazine.

"It's really learning to love every single thing about yourself," she said.

Aniston confided that looking good takes more effort as one ages.

"We've got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies, and how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s," she said.

But beauty, she added, is not just a question of external looks.

It comes with "taking on challenges, and... not feeling like a failure or allowing people to critique your life and make you feel like you've failed at something. That's just toxic noise."

'Welcome Home,' Pamela Anderson. The Baywatch Film is Now Even Better

Priyanka Chopra in a major role, The Rock as the new Mitch and a cameo by David Hasselhoff - could the Baywatch film get any more exciting? Yes, it appears it could and has - original cast member Pamela Anderson has signed on to appear in the big screen update of the iconic '90s TV show.

Dwayne Johnson, known to fans as The Rock, gave Pamela Anderson an Insta-welcome:
Ms Anderson, now 48, played CJ Parker from 1992 to 1997. Her position has been filled by actress Kelly Rohrbach in the work-in-progress film so Ms Anderson will presumably have a special role, like The Hoff.

The rebooted lifeguard squad includes actors Zac Efron, Jon Bass, Ilfenesh Hadera and Alexandra Daddario:

Priyanka Chopra, who plays antagonist Victoria Leeds in the film, will not be wearing the iconic red swimsuit. Asked, Priyanka told NDTV: "I'm not a lifeguard, I'm the interruption in their slow motion."

Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch is currently filming and hits screens on May 19, 2017. Here's the first official look of the film:

Cannes 2016: Freida Pinto's Trip to French Riviera Will be About This

Actress Freida Pinto will reportedly attend the upcoming 69th Cannes International Film Festival to launch the first project of non-profit production company called We Do It Together, which focuses on women's empowerment in the entertainment industry.

Freida is one of the members of the advisory board which also includes stars like Jessica Chastain, Juliette Binoche, singer Queen Latifah, and film director Catherine Hardwicke.

Other members are director Hany Abu-Assad, actress Zhang Ziyi, director Amma Asante, director Marielle Heller, director Katia Lund, director Malgorzata Szumowska, actress Alysia Reiner, National Humanities Medal honouree Henry Louis Gates and director Haifaa Al-Mansour.

The Cannes International Film Festival will commence on May 11- 21, 2016.

According to sources, Freida will be a part of the prestigious gala on May 15 to announce the first project of the company.

The production company We Do It Together (WDIT) aims to produce films and TV that boost the empowerment of women. The company also hopes to partner with male and female industry professionals to create a slate of gender-led projects, and to generate opportunities for women.

Freida's upcoming projects include Jungle Book: Origins and Yamasong: March of the Hollows.

Sonam Kapoor is 'Trying' For Hollywood Films. This is the Status

Actress Sonam Kapoor said that she has been auditioning for Hollywood films but is yet to get "anything substantial."

"I have been trying and I have been auditioning. But I haven't got anything substantial yet which I would feel inspirational enough and take the time out and go," Sonam told IANS.

Sonam, daughter of actor Anil Kapoor hasn't signed any Bollywood film either. "I'm looking for something right now," said Sonam. So, is it easier for star kids to take a break from films compared to outsiders?

"It takes a lot of courage to wait for the right thing to do. I don't take money from my father. Just because I'm Anil Kapoor's daughter doesn't mean he pays my bills," said Sonam.

"People are more respectful because I'm Anil Kapoor's daughter, but my bills don't get paid because I'm his daughter," added Sonam.

Sonam was last seen in Neerja which released in February.

Jennifer Lawrence Almost Trips, Again. Twitter Thinks It's Fishy

There's something about actress Jennifer Lawrence and red carpets that just doesn't match. A tumble here and a fall there - Ms Lawrence has lost her balance at many prestigious events like Oscars and movie premieres. In fact, she's made a habit of it - she's fallen not once, not twice, not even thrice, but four times. The fourth time was at the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' London premiere on May 9.

The actress was wearing a white silver body-hugging Dior gown when she tripped over her feet at the star-studded event. However, she was saved by an usher who caught her well in time. The premiere was attended by co-stars like Olivia Munn, Sophie Turner and James

Let's quickly recap why she has become the red carpet's favourite falling star.

In 2013, Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, an achievement that was nearly overshadowed by her falling on her face on the way to the podium. The giant skirt of her Dior ballgown was blamed.

The next year, she fell again on the Oscar red carpet, wearing a fabulous red Dior ensemble. Sensing a theme here - could it be Dior?

But no, it seems no matter what she wears, Jennifer Lawrence's centre of gravity is unreliable at very public occasions. A shimmering blue Jason Wu gown tripped her up at the New York premiere of X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014.

Cannes Fashion: 7 Times Foreign Stars Wore Indian Designers

If you thought Indian film stars were the country's only representatives at the Cannes Films Festival, think again. Homegrown designers too have made a mark with their creations at the French Riviera, and not always as worn by desi celebs. The Indian fashion scene has gone international over the years and has made it to Cannes, one of the most-watched red carpets in the world.
It is a matter of pride for Indian designers when a Hollywood celeb chooses to wear a desi label over the multiple international couture houses on offer. It is a massive boost to the brand and the designer benefits greatly from the publicity. Here are a few global celebrities who looked East when dressing for the Cannes red carpet:

1. Rachel McAdams attended the screening of Sleeping Beauty in 2011 wearing a Monique Lhuillier corset and pants accessorized with beautiful Victorian rose-cut diamond bracelets by Indian brand Amrapali.

2. At 2013's amFar Gala, socialite Paris Hilton sizzled in a pretty pink number by Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock. The full-length gown featured silver embellishments and feather details.

3. In 2013, French producer Melita Toscan du Plantier wore an art deco-inspired Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation for the opening ceremony. The stunning black and gold outfit with geometric designs was the perfect pick for a star-studded even and Melita was praised for her bold red carpet choice.

4. Also in 2013, Chinese actress Bai Ling wore a gorgeous sequined cocktail dress by Indian designer duo Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna at the opening ceremony and premiere of The Great Gatsby. The blingy dress accentuated her petite figure and she pulled it off perfectly on the red carpet.

5. Hollywood has claimed homegirl Freida Pinto but she hasn't entirely abandoned India when it comes to making a fashion splash. In 2012, she wore a white and gold Paco Rabanne by Manish Arora dress. The sharp silhouette and sexy neckline helped Freida stand out in a stylish crowd.

6. In 2013, Freida picked a glittering silver gown by fashion designer Sanchita Ajjampur. Her gilded dress had a thigh-high side slit which gave her an edgy look.

7. In 2014, Israeli socialite Hofit Golan turned heads in a sensuous golden gown by designer Gaurav Gupta.

At Cannes, Julia Roberts Walks Heels-Only Red Carpet Barefoot

Dear Cannes Film Festival and fashion in general, this is what Julia Roberts thinks of your often absurd rules:

As the 48-year-old actress sashayed up the red-carpeted stairs at the screening of her film Money Monster, she was revealed to be barefoot beneath the hem of her black Armani gown. It was infinitely more impactful than being barefoot in the park - not only are heels considered de rigueur at events so glamorous as this, Cannes was reported to controversially have banned flats on the red carpet last year.

Several women, including producer Valeria Richter, complained last year that they were stopped for not wearing heels, prompting festival director Thierry Fremaux to tell news agency AFP: "We apologise. There was perhaps a small moment of over-zealousness."

Julia Roberts, however, sailed right up and through.

The actress, who co-stars with George Clooney in the Jodi Foster-directed Money Monster, reportedly arrived wearing black peep-toes and ditched the heels on the red carpet. She had them back on while exiting the screening with co-star Dominic West.

Julia Roberts isn't the only rule-breaker - Susan Sarandon wore ballet flats with a tux to the screening of the festival's opening film, Woody Allen's Cafe Society.

The Cannes Film festival is currently underway and will end on May 22.
